Marketing Project Manager (Contractor)

About The RoleThe Marketing Project Manager is the hub of Commercial Marketing’s planning and execution activities.

As a member of the Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for orchestrating the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, as well as designing repeatable processes that will allow for speed, agility and efficiency.

You will work with stakeholders and vendor partners across both global and regional teams.You have an eye for detail, are passionate about establishing processes and maximizing efficiency and always strive to take the initiative to stay one step ahead.

You are a clear communicator, enjoy building relationships and value teamwork.What You Will Be DoingTake ownership of internal marketing operations processes documentation and improvementsDevelop project management plans for marketing campaigns and new product initiatives.

Identify requirements and dependencies, and develop schedules to meet project timelines.Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage the planning and execution of complex programs Monitor day-to-day activities of projects and ensure work is progressing as plannedCoordinate with project stakeholders in order to ensure planning and collaboration across the entire project lifecycleConsistently manage expectations on realistic timelines for delivery based on overall resources availableReview department projects for completeness at submission and before design handoffRegularly assess and report on incoming and outgoing project managementFacilitate team meetings and activities, facilitate vendor selection process, day-to-day vendor management, reporting etc.Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goalsProactively identifies project risks and needed mitigationPerform retrospectives, document learnings and optimize processes.Use department project management system Workfront to manage, track and report on department resourcesHelp manage digital asset management system including file tagging and uploading and maintenanceAssist with quality reviews including proofingMinimum QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required.8 years experience in marketing-related team developing programs or materials5 years of project management experience within a corporate marketing department, creative studio or agencyPreferred SkillsKnowledge of project management processes, workflow and terminologyProven ability to drive projects at all levels in the company – on time, on scope, on budget.Ability to multitask, set priorities, be resourceful in a fast-paced environment, working under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitudeDemonstrated ability to build relationships and take collaborative approach to problem solvingDemonstrated ability to negotiate to find common ground and compromise solutionsExperience managing external agencies and suppliersProficient in Microsoft Office suite, Google suite and project management systemExperience with digital asset management systems.
