Director of M&A Integration, Corporate Development

Job Description and Responsibilities

This role will be part of the M&A Integration function that reports into Corporate Development globally and works closely with Business Leaders and the integration leads from the different functions (HR, IT, legal, etc.).

We are looking for a proactive leader who will help shape the M&A integration approach for a $450B+ market cap company and raise the strategic profile of Integration.

This role is a direct report to the VP, Head of M&A Integration for Visa Inc.

Responsibilities:

Lead / support integration of multiple acquisitions at a Global level from business case development to execution and post-closing value capture, incorporating key issues discovered through diligenceEngage with Executive Sponsor and Business and Functional leaders to incorporate the operating model, integration approach and organization structure for each acquisitionBe a thought leader and champion to raise the strategic profile of the Integration function both internally and externallyLead / support development of acquisition key tracking metrics aligned with transaction value drivers and synergy plan to drive performance managementLead / support the IMO, driving day-to-day integration execution management, including development of integration plans, coaching cross-functional teams, managing weekly integration team meetings and driving proactive issue resolution Lead / support the refinement of integration and corporate development playbooks that incorporate prior experience and industry best practices across all key work streams

Qualifications

MBA strongly preferred 8+ years business experience in Strategy, Business Operations and Integration including a minimum of 3 years of experience in Integration Proven track record in M&A integration either within a publicly traded company or a top tier strategy or operations consultingThought leadership in M&A integration and ability to influence and push back with Senior Business leaders to drive Integration agendaDemonstrated ability to manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously, executing against both individually as well as broader strategic initiativesDemonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive effective integration planning and management Strong analytical, strategic and innovative thinker with creative problem solving skills
