JOB DESCRIPTION-ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGERWe currently have an immediate opening for an Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager will be a part of the team that is responsible for the expansion of DigitalPath’s network of the ALERTWildfire Camera System and related emergency response infrastructure. This network expands across multiple regions, including location and development of new sites. DigitalPath is looking for a talented team player with a positive “can-do” attitude and trustworthy character. This individual should be able to handle constructive criticism well and focus on the task at hand. The ideal candidate will exhibit superb relationship-building and problem-solving skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize job importance from highest to lowest. The health, wellness, and safety of our employees and the communities we serve is of utmost importance to us.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS-ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER:Hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pmTravel may be required up to 50 percent of the time with per-diem and lodging paidReports to VP of Operations and Field Operations ManagerJob is based out of our Chico Corporate OfficeMust be able to work in a group setting or in an office independentlyMost work will be in an office setting, with work to be performed outside in the elements, including site visits and meetings.QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in Construction ManagementAbility to represent the Company on a professional levelGreat customer service skillsGreat problem solving and thinking skillsGreat time management & self-organizational skillsAbility to prioritize many tasks at onceMust have a clean driving record [0-1 points, no DUI] and ability to drive a manual transmissionMust be able to pass a comprehensive drug/alcohol screening and arduous physicalMust possess at minimum a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of Construction Project Management experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Climbing and rescue, OHSA 10, and equipment certificationsApplying for and pulling permitsOperating 4X4 vehiclesWorking with heightsKnowledge and ability to successfully manage employeesExperience managing remote employees in various citiesExperience with field quality controlExperience with company policy adherence and enforcement for employeesKnowledge of American Tower OAA documentsKnowledge of Google Earth and its functionsExperience writing and editing lease agreements and lease amendmentsExperience with Google G SuiteExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Visio/Outlook)COMPENSATION:$60,000-$70,000 Annually. Starting pay will vary based on your knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. This is an in-person full-time exempt position. We are willing to have an open dialogue about wage.
