Business Specialist/Jr.Project Manager


This is a Full-time position in Rancho Cordova, CA posted June 11, 2021.

Position: Jr.

Project Manager/Project Coordinator

Location: CA 95670 (100% remote)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)

Notes from manager:

They will be coordinating and scheduling calls with the CTO and OD (Doctor of Optometry).

This person will then pull and prepare all information for the meetings so that the Chief will be prepared.

They will compile notes and minutes from the meeting, post call.

They will be compiling all data and managing this entire effort.

There are MANY meetings to be prepared and scheduled, along with the data to go along with each.

They will also be conducting the stakeholder analysis and helping to prepare for reviews.

This person must have excellent communication, both written and verbal.

Job Description:

Under supervision, provide business area expertise to other business partners.

Work closely with project team members and others to analyze alternatives and implement approved changes to current systems and processes.

Maintain and provide knowledge of the utilization and function of the current systems and processes at CLIENT to support business needs, projects, and issue research and resolution.

Work with project teams to analyze current processes and systems and formulate alternative methods to improve accuracy, efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Develop business process and procedure mapping within the assigned business area.

Coordinate and gather information from other departments as necessary.

Perform backup support and act as point of contact for other departments and other representatives in discussing proposed changes and the impacts to existing systems and processes.

Coordinate responses giving estimated resources required to accomplish the proposed changes.

Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.

One year experience utilizing current products and systems at CLIENT, both manual and automated components.

Ability to research processes, analyze problems, and define system or procedural solutions Excellent verbal communication skills.

Ability to speak in group situations with clear and concise communication regarding project issues and status Excellent written communication skills.

Ability to write documentation and reports that are clear, complete, and understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to organize individual responsibilities for multiple projects, resulting in the timely and accurate completion and delivery of project tasks.

Ability to gather and understand resource information from a variety of sources, including interviews, researches and reports.

Proficiency with word processing, flowcharts, and spreadsheet applications Excellent interpersonal skills to foster cooperation amongst business partners and coordinate internal as well as external resource/workload Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties.

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
