Delivery Driver

We are looking for Delivery drivers to drive daily transportation routes throughout the Peninsula and to ensure service and delivery goals are achieved on time. As a Delivery Driver, you are the face of the company. Being the last point of contact for most of our customers, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our products are delivered to customers safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner. This is a scheduled position where the vehicle is provided by the company.

Reports to: General Manager, Director of Operations

What You’ll Do:

● Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections at the start of every shift

● Keep track of all vehicle related purchases (mainly gas)

● Apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues that will arise upon delivery

● Work closely with dispatch to ensure successful completion of scheduled deliveries

● Inspect and care for client packages while in transit

● Act as brand ambassador and answer questions from clients

● Provide the highest level of service and safety at all times

● Stay in touch with dispatch throughout deliveries and quickly solve problems as

they arrive

● Outstanding problem solving and time management abilities

● Must be an adept driver and always abide by all traffic laws

● Able to pass a drug test

● Be knowledgeable about all Juva services

● Help resolve customers’ concerns with urgency and professionalism.

● Help maintain fleet vehicles by keeping them clean and ensuring they are empty

and secure when returned

● Preparing, loading, unloading, inspection, and operation of Juva delivery vehicles.

○ Performing routine maintenance and regular cleaning of Juva delivery

vehicles, such as monitoring fluid levels and replenishing fuel; transporting

Juva delivery vehicles to and from third-party service centers for

preventative maintenance appointments as scheduled by the Director of

Security & Risk Management.

○ Sorting and delivering marijuana and marijuana products according to

predefined routes and time schedules.

○ Obtaining accurate information on registered patients and personal

caregivers, such as telephone numbers, home addresses, and specific

delivery instructions to facilitate efficient home delivery.

○ Maintaining proper record keeping, such as chain-of-custody documents

and payments received from registered patients and personal caregivers

○ Maintaining a cash bank issued by Juva in accordance with the cash

handling policies and procedures of Juva to be used in the exchange of

currency when accepting and processing payments for home deliveries.

Salary

$18 – $24 USD per hour

Required Skills

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Proven work experience as a courier or relevant position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
• Must successfully pass an extensive background check, including City, State and Federal
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to express yourself clearly when interacting with patients, caregivers or co-workers
•  A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history with reliable transportation.
• At least 3 years of occupational driving experience
• A clean driving record (no DUI)
• Cannot have had a felony conviction
• Cannot have had a major moving violation in the past 3 years
• Cannot have had a license suspension in the past 2 years
