Stockton based company of 65+ years, looking for an experienced tanker-truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. Must be okay to travel out of state (2-3 nights a week) as needed. Owner Operators – Own your own truck (2017 and newer) – we’ll make you a fair market value offer! Paid Benefit Package includes:100% Employer Paid Benefits (Employee + Family) Health, Dental, Vision, Vacation, Holidays, Life Insurance, 401k, and Profit Sharing Responsibilities Transport liquid propane and ammonia to manufacturing plants or industrial plants Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts (Electronic logs) Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a tanker truck driver (Min 1 year) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Experience with driving in snow & tire chains Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) Commercial Class A License with Hazmat Certificate and All Endorsements required.
