If you’re looking for challenging work experiences with a bigger purpose and desire to learn in a collaborative environment, we invite you to look for the next step in your career at Northrop Grumman.n nNorthrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Quality Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA.n nRoles and Responsibilities: nn Provide subject matter expertise implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (DMAIC), Root Cause analysis and Corrective Action analysis, and other CI activities.

Support Marine Systems Performance, Quality, and Affordability efforts by implementing Six Sigma DMAIC / Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to be a change agent.

Define improvement projects and implement continuous improvement programs and initiatives.

Facilitate and coach improvement teams to solve complex technical problems utilizing DMAIC or related problem solving methodologies.

Audit quality systems and perform based on risk assessments for deficiency identification and correction.

Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable requirements.

Perform Surveillance Audits based on risk assessments and report on corrective measures to meet acceptable requirements.

Establish and measure key indicators to assess project success and transition successful outcomes to program teams.

Perform statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

Works with Management and provides summary level briefings.

nn  nMAQEAn  nn nn Qualifications nn nn Basic Qualifications: nn Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline.

10+ years of experience within one or more of the following areas: Mission Assurance, Supply Chain, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent expertise Possess Six-Sigma Black-Belt experience or working towards Certification Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

US Citizenship required.
