Science Operations Specialist

Kelly Services is currently seeking a Science Operations Specialist for a long-term engagement with one of our Global Pharmaceutical clients in California.

This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc.

This role is full-time and is offering full benefit options.

Help support projects, disseminate info, interpret data, create presentations.

Create material to convey messages and participate in technical writing.

Support efforts in the review, interpretation, dissemination and reporting of scientific data in the field of ophthalmology.

Environment requires quick thinking, clear communication, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under time pressure.

Minimum education required for competent performance: Bachelor degree in a technical discipline Minimum experience (number of month/years and type of work experience beyond formal education) required for competent performance: Minimum 3 years relevant work experience Preferably in Ophthalmology background Equipment usage and abilities needed: Strong technical and analytical writing ability An expert in the visualization of data with advanced software functions (i.e., creation/manipulation of graphs, tables for scientific/management presentations in Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Proficient understanding of clinical research science and working knowledge of statistics At least a working knowledge of ophthalmology; experience in surgical ophthalmic research is desired Organized, balances attention to detail with urgency to deliver the ask quickly Adept at working remotely, grasping objectives quickly, and working independently Experience in writing, review and editing clinical/regulatory document (clinical study reports, annual reports) is preferred Experience with scientific literature/abstract submissions desired Able to partner with team members to support and manage projects, including clinical activity planning, trial design and development; analysis and interpretation of research data.
