LOCATION: San Dimas, Ca.nn PAY: $13.00
– $15.00 DOEnn SHIFT: 6:30am – 3:30pm (OT Required as needed)nn JOB DESCRIPTION: nn Entry level position with at least 6 Months – 1 year of experience nn Perform Assembly on parts Perform Sandblasting, grinding, deburring, sanding, polishing operations on parts Smooths surface of item to specified finish, using hand tools and powered tools Ability to follow work instructions and efficiently assemble mechanical devices Familiar with basic hand tools Use of a torque wrench Experience using precision measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers a plus Must be able to wear a respirator for extended periods of time Must be able to have attention to detail Available to work O/T as needed Forklift Certification a plus Painting experience a plus n n Job Requirements: n Construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel Operate blaster using appropriate material and blasting portion of parts specified by customer Complete detailed special applications as appropriate to the surface and final product requirements Treat surface with turpentine and other preparations Stooping, bending and stretching to accomplish painting, sandblasting and other assigned duties Report all job related illness and injuries (Per Employee Handbook) Maintain safe storage, handling and use of commercial grade explosives as directed or delegated by the Lead Blaster Read and understand customer requirements and car write-ups Utilize hand tools such as hygrometer, profile and mil gauge, disk sander, wire brush, grinders, scaling gun, needle nose, crescent wrench Using brushes, rollers, and spray guns Interpret blueprints and lay out area for blasting Ensure work is conducted in a safe and quality manner Blasting of vehicle dollies, skids, and/or carriers Assemble parts, troubleshoot moving parts Quality control of finished product Adjust controls throughout the blasting process Hire opportunity to work as Machine Operator for a leader in concrete products in Vancouver, Washington Prepare the surfaces to receive the coatings by cleaning the dirt, oil, and grease from the surfaces to be covered, removing old paint and wall coverings Take necessary training including completion of all Job Skills Demonstrations to advance to the NC&M Advanced Job (3251) classification, including safety rules and other related training Work extended hours as needed to accomplish the task or work with little or no prior notification Inspect own work for defects and noncompliance tospecifications and make necessary repairs
