Responding to intake calls

                Admissions screening and assessments

                Entering information into electronic contact management and billing systems

                Consulting with Director of Admissions and other Clinical and Medical Staff

                Creating admission documents and completing paperwork with new clients and family

                Verifying health insurance benefits

                Pre-certifications, concurrent authorization, and discharge reviews with insurance companies (Utilization Review)

                Financial Counseling with clients/families and collection of payment for services

Detailed Description:

Responding to intake calls

Admissions screening and assessments

Entering information into electronic contact management and billing systems

Consulting with Director of Admissions and other Clinical and Medical Staff

Creating admission documents and completing paperwork with new clients and family

Verifying health insurance benefits

Pre-certifications, concurrent authorization, and discharge reviews with insurance companies (UR)

Financial Counseling with clients/families and collection of payment for services

Prior admissions or equivalent sales experience

A strong understanding of substance abuse issues and treatment

Demonstrated ability to provided thorough, high quality customer service.

Experience working with insurance company’s a plus

Experience with sales and contact management systems a plus

Ability to work effectively as a member of a team

Conscientious and highly organized

Able to prioritize multiple tasks when things get busy

Able to work well under pressure
