Our client is looking for an HR Coordinator to join their team. This is a one-year contract based in Sunnyvale, California.
The main function of an onboarding human resources coordinator is performing the administrative functions of onboarding across multiple teams, strategic process and documentation enhancement in partnership with management, and introducing new hires to the organization. A typical human resources generalist is responsible for enhancing company culture and improving business results.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute onboarding across 4+ teams through scheduling, communication, coordination, and support.
  • Advise managers on onboarding matters and take initiative to update or enhance processes.
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by helping resolve onboarding-related questions for new hires.
  • Present introductory onboarding materials and introduce new hires to the organization through seating coordination and support.
  • Support onboarding team through keeping documents and processes up to date based on the prioritization of the organization and each respective team
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of onboarding protocol and procedures related to hiring practices.
• Ability to manage 4-5 separate workstreams at once with a high level of organization and transparency
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, G-Suite, and PowerPoint.
