– Please attach updated resume in word format Job Title Research Associate I Location South San Francisco, CA Duration 6 Months Duties We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and independent Scientific Researcher to join the Clinical Pharmacology Department in Development Sciences at Client.

The candidate will provide technical support for the Clinical Pharmacology activities to assess the clinical pharmacokinetics (PK, aka drug concentration) and pharmacodynamics (PD, aka drug response) of drug candidates and marketed products, in order to ensure that the right drug is administered to the right patient at the right dose and regimen.

The successful candidate will be expected to effectively collaborate with colleagues in Clinical Pharmacology and cross-functionally to work independently or under the direct supervision of a scientist.

Daily responsibility includes timely preparation and transfer of data sets containing PKPD and critical patient data, conduct of graphical and relevant clinical pharmacology data analyses, support of internalexternal presentations, as well as contribution to the writing of clinical documents, study reports and documentation that support regulatory filings.

The individual is expected to acquire the basic Clinical Pharmacology and data analyses knowledge to perform such tasks.

The candidate may also perform literature searches to provide scientific background and rationale for clinical pharmacology plans and strategies as needed, as well as contribute to departmental initiatives such as personalized dosing, real world data, advanced analytics, and other efforts.

Skills Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills, attention to detail, as well as working effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting are essential.

Candidate is expected to have hands-on experience with programming.

Experience in data exploration and graphical representation of clinical trial data is highly desired.

Familiarity with quantitative approaches in drug development, working knowledge of relevant modeling software (eg.

WinNonlin, R, NONMEM), pharmacokinetic modeling, and statistical data analysis are preferred, but not required.

Candidate must be open-minded and ready to learn new concepts and tools.

Education B.A.B.S., M.S., Pharm.D.

or equivalent degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biology, Chemistry or other scientific field is required, with 0 years for M.S.

or 2 years for B.S.

of relevant experience, preferably in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical Industry.

Senior Scientific Researcher will require minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
