Job Responsibilities

In this role you will perform full-cycle software development work as a lead of engineers on various projects, with an emphasis on our BATS-D AN/PRC-161 software.

The work focuses on leading development and supporting Next Generation Link 16 software development, products, and related activities.

This role also includes the opportunity to work closely with our customers to assist in integration of the radios and software products into mobile platforms or fixed sites.

We’re looking for a candidate with a strong embedded software development background as well as team lead, or technical mentorship experience.

The ideal candidate will be someone capable of working with a cross functional team and supporting initial development/debug/bring-up as well as long term product roadmap development.

Additionally, you will promote the software growth of junior engineers through code reviews & strategic task planning in Jira.

Requirements:
10+ years of C++ development experience or 5+ years of directly relevant software development experience Significant experience working with C++, Python, C#, and Linux Excellent oral and written communication Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain when administratively feasible Ability to travel up to 10% Preferences Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Expert knowledge & hands on experience with Link-16, familiarity with MIL-STD-6016 Successfully delivered customer projects through entire software lifecycle Experience with CMake, ARM cross-compile tools and embedded Linux tools Familiarity with Software Communications Architecture (SCA) Experience developing and mentoring junior engineers, using project management tools Experience with systems integration, software design & architecture as a software lead To learn more about this site and other office locations, please click  here !
