Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service for the patient; excellent chair side manner.Assist the doctor with all dental proceduresPerforming patient oral evaluationsTake, develop and mount accurate and high quality radiographsPerform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors schedule and patient flow; create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times.Help clean the office and treatment roomsReview patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chartMaintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA complianceFollow organizations safety policies and proceduresHave knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job successfullyVerify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patients chartGreet and check in patients in a friendly mannerMaintain a full schedule of patients dailyAssist patients with understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosisCalculate fees for dental treatmentCoordinate financial agreements for the patient’s financial responsibility of dental treatmentResponding to patient billing or financial inquiries, directing to appropriate departments, as necessary.Support the front desk staff members by fulfilling patient care responsibilitiesCheck and respond to voicemails and emails left for the officeAssist with other office duties as requested or needed Qualifications: Prior RDA experience required (1 year)Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferredVersed in Dentrix is requiredRDA license as required by stateHighly effective verbal and communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsOutstanding positive attitude and demeanorStrong interpersonal and relationship building skillsKnowledge of all company policies and rulesAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
