n n nAssistant Scientist I/II Preclinical Developmentn nCompany Descriptionn nnPharmaceutical Company.nn nJob Descriptionn nnThe candidate must have experience in conducting in vitro ADME assays and familiarity with quantitative bioanalysis to support development of novel small molecule therapeutics as detailed below:nn nn
• Expertise in conducting in vitro ADME assays that include stability assays in variety of biological matrices, in vitro metabolic stability assays using primary or derived cell lines or other biological matrices, Cytochrome P450 inhibition and induction assays, protein binding assays nn nn
• Track record of handling and maintaining cell cultures (primary and derived cell lines) nn nn
• Familiar with metabolite profiling, identification and/or quantification nn nn
• Technical expertise in bioanalysis using LC-MS/MS nn nnPrimary responsibilities will include hands-on laboratory work including managing/coordinating daily lab activities, conducting in vitro ADME assays, cell culture, developing bioanalytical LC-MS/MS methods for the quantitative analysis of small molecules, quantitating drug concentrations in various biological matrices, data integration and report writing.

The candidate will work closely with senior scientists within the group to support discovery project teams which may include data presentation in team meetings, monitoring DMPK CROs, design in vivo DMPK studies, data management and presentation.nn nQualificationsn nn
• MS degree with 1-3+/3-5+ years of experience in DMPK and/or bioanalytical chemistry or related field nn nn
• Hands on knowledge of in vitro DMPK assays nn nn
• Experience with cell culture nn nn
• Knowledge of in vivo pharmacokinetic analysis are a plus nn nn
• Good organizational, record keeping, presentation and communication skills nn nn
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and multitask nn nn
• Enthusiastic and motivated team player with a can-do attitudenn n n
