Systems Support Specialist

Fairfield Residential

This is a Full-time position in San Diego, CA posted October 27, 2021.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred


  • 3+ Years Property Management or Accounting experience
  • 3+ Years working in or supporting Yardi
  • Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager experience preferred

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Advanced Yardi knowledge (Voyager, RentCafe, VoyagerPlus)
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
  • In depth knowledge of multi-family Property Management operations
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving technology related problems
  • Ability to learn new systems/technology quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to create technical documentation (FAQ’s, user guides, system diagrams)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone, in person, and via email with people of varying degrees of technical experience
  • Experience with the following systems preferred but not required; SharePoint, Nexus, LRO Rainmaker, Microsoft Teams

Essential Duties:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system support requests
  • Keep detailed records of support requests within the IS department issue tracking system
  • Create/update knowledgebase articles, FAQ’s and user guides
  • Participate in testing and deployment of upgrades, bug-fixes, and new software implementations
  • Set-up, maintain, and audit property configuration settings within multiple systems
