The Position We are seeking an executive leader to serve as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The CFO will serve as the trusted financial advisor to all levels of the organization, providing the financial data, planning, trends, and predictive analytics that the corporation needs to deliver its value proposition to customers and to meet its goals.

the CFO will demonstrate leadership in a 21st-century finance organization and provide strategic partnership to the CEO and Executive Team.

The ideal candidate will develop financial strategies linked to business objectives throughout the corporation and the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

The successful candidate will instill a culture that emphasizes accountability, efficiency, and transparency among the finance team while enabling the team to be viewed as collaborative business partners across the company.

In this position, you will provide strategic executive leadership with responsibility for high-level financial planning and analysis, accounting, contracts, and treasury.

Areas of specific focus will include financial strategy, forecasting, reporting annual and multi-year budgeting, internal investments, enterprise risk management, capital expenditure execution, audit compliance, contracts management, banking and related debt agreements, cash flow management, financial system implementations, assuring operational efficiency through internal controls.

The position will also be responsible for implementing operational best in class improvements to financial and business processes.

This highly visible, fast-paced position includes regular engagement with corporate officers and their teams, as well as quarterly reporting to the Board of Trustees.

The position will be located in El Segundo, CA and reports to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President.

Qualifications Requirement The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or relevant degree with an MBA or CPA being preferred.

You have proven executive management experience, leading all facets of the financial operations of a significant multi-location enterprise doing business nationally.

We are seeking a candidate who is viewed as a financial expert with knowledge of federal and DoD contracts, laws, and regulations involving DoD contracting oversight, including DCAA and the DCMA.

In addition, you will also have a minimum of 15 years leading and developing large teams; you are viewed as a relationship builder, complex problem solver, deep critical thinker, mentor, and coach.

Knowledge of the space industry and comfort working in high-tech or research and development are preferred experiences.

This position will require travel to other Aerospace and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access.

We operate a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) for the United States Air Force and the National Reconnaissance Office, and support all national security space programs.
