Prepare complex analytical reports and financial statements.

Conduct highly technical accounting-based research and analysis projects to provide management with definitive financial data and advice.

May provide direction to junior-level analysts.Major Responsibilities:Produce complex financial analysis and conduct financial control, provide written and verbal presentations to appropriate levels of management.25% Review day-to-day financial performance, produce and present monthly financial reports regarding trends, variances, profitability, and performance measurement.30% Develop database programs and financial models to conduct analysis, coordinate with divisions to prepare group forecasts, annual budget, and financial analysis.30% Coordinate the resolution of financial questions, issues and reports.

5% Coordinate the development and implementation of risk and compliance related projects and policies.

Provide work direction lower level staff.5% This position may also be assigned supervisory duties.

If assigned supervisor duties, responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and the termination of staff; recommend salary changes, job promotions; setting work hours, conducting counseling /performance reviews, etc.

Responsible for ensuring staff comply with all wage and hour regulations.

This includes reviewing employee timecards for accuracy and ensuring all meal and rest breaks are adhered to for all nonexempt staff.Job Requirements:Typically requires a degree from a four-year college (e.G.

B.A., B.S.) and typically 5-6 years of technical experience as a Financial Analyst or equivalent, comparable experience.Requires the ability to develop and design complex spreadsheets, databases, or report formats (based on business need) to be used by other people.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed.
