The Product FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) team is a key partner and enabler of the Product and engineering organization at PayPal.

As part of this team, the Director, Consumer Product Finance will be responsible for helping the Senior Business Leaders meet key financial as well as business objectives and KPI goals by providing outstanding finance support and business insights.

Core Responsibilities include:
Pull together a unified financial story for consumer products and initiatives driven by the organization.

Roll up of segment financial views, KPIs and insights for Core Consumer products including Venmo, Xoom, Honey and Debit Card Issuance businesses Partner with senior product executives to define business and financial goals in order to drive accountability and ownership.

Report, analyze, and translate data into key insights that drive strategic decision making at the executive level Roll up, track, and report the financial impact of key initiatives across Enterprise by collaborating with cross functional finance teams and therefore enabling consistent reporting across operational reviews, senior leadership team reviews and other similar forums Provide data driven support for trade-off discussions across the product roadmap and work with cross functional partners to drive execution of plans and track growth Develop budget, forecasts and reporting for both existing and developing product lines Influence prioritization and iterative developments for new strategic initiatives across product, sales/marketing orgs; support the planning process and take lead in pulling together the financials of strategic plans (six pager format
This role offers the candidate an opportunity to:

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance/accounting or similar field is required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred 12
– 20 years of prior experience in Finance or Analytics field in a high growth, global company preferably in internet based, high tech or financial services sectors Exceptional excel skills required – candidate should be comfortable with robust financial modeling and working with large amounts of data; SQL experience is a plus Prior experience with reporting systems (e.g.

Essbase) and dashboards (Tableau, QlikView) is essential Solid experience in building senior executive level PowerPoint presentations with ability to synthesize data driven details/insights into succinct story Successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing team(s) of Analysts Detail oriented and strong analytical mindset as well as strong communication skills are essential Comfortable working in a fast paced, cross functional team environment setting
